Everyman's Fantasy

Turning last week's box scores into this week's waiver-wire magic

ACTION REACTION

ACTION

Nick Foles relieves an injured Michael Vick, throws for 197 yards and two TDs, and leads Eagles on a late rally over the the Giants.

REACTION

The Giants aren't exactly the Steel Curtain, and Philly was already piling up yardage with Vick in the game. Move along.

ACTION

Packers RB Eddie Lacy racks up 99 yards on 23 carries in his first game back from a Week 2 concussion.

REACTION

More important, fantasywise: He dominated the touches out of the backfield. You can confidently keep him in your regular lineup.

ACTION

Colts RB Trent Richardson goes for just 56 yards on 18 carries, lowering his yards per rush to 3.1—and just 2.9 with Indy.

REACTION

Seattle was a tough matchup, but was Cleveland onto something when it dealt him? He's no longer an everyday fantasy starter.

ACTION

Jags WR Justin Blackmon announces his return with a 67-yard, first-quarter TD; finishes with five receptions, 136 yards.

REACTION

Good news for Blackmon: QB Blaine Gabbert hurt his hammy and could be out a bit. Blackmon soared with backup Chad Henne in '12.

RISERS

ANDREW LUCK QB, COLTS

Indy asserted itself as a serious threat in the AFC behind the second-year QB's 229 yards and two TDs going against a super-strong Seattle secondary.

JAMES JONES WR, PACKERS

The third option in Green Bay caught four passes for 127 yards and a TD. Given this attack's explosiveness, benching him is a no-no.

ZAC STACY RB, RAMS

In his first NFL start, the fifth-round pick ran for 78 yards on 14 carries. He could play his way into regular consideration for a flex spot.

FALLERS

DWAYNE BOWE WR, CHIEFS

Five games in, he hasn't topped four catches or 58 yards in a single one. Even with his two TDs, downgrade him to a WR3, at best.

MATTHEW STAFFORD QB, LIONS

So this is what happens when Calvin Johnson sits out? You can't consider the QB a starter any week Megatron doesn't play.

RASHARD MENDENHALL RB, CARDINALS

Ignore his one-yard TD. He ran for 43 yards on 17 carries while backup Andre Ellington had 83 total yards on 11 touches.
