Costume Drama

Missouri is clearly the place to go to see kids dress up like coaches. On the heels of Baby Andy Reid comes Mason Gray, who dressed as Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel for Halloween. Nine-year-old Mason, who is autistic and largely nonverbal, became a local celeb when his mom Tweeted his picture. By Friday afternoon his family—season-ticket-holding Missouri alums—had been invited to Saturday's game as guests of the school. Fans high-fived Mason everywhere he went, and he met Pinkel after the game. "We've always known he's the bravest soul we've ever seen and a rock star, but that day he really was a star," says his mom, Jennifer. The family also met Mizzou hoops coach Frank Haith, who, it was discovered, wears the same glasses as Mason's brother, Thomas. Guess who Thomas will be for Halloween next year?
