THREE PLAYERS TO SELL
ERIC DECKER
WR, Broncos
He still has two games against the Chiefs, and during the fantasy playoffs he faces the Titans and the Texans, two of the three stingiest defenses in terms of points allowed to receivers. He should fetch quite a haul in return. Pull the trigger.
JORDAN CAMERON
TE, Browns
One of the stars of the first half, he should be appealing to suitors—so why ditch him? In addition to still having a bye, Cleveland has a tough slate, including the Steelers (No. 4 in passing yards allowed per game)and Bengals (No. 11).
FRED JACKSON
RB, Bills
Backfield mate C.J. Spiller finally looked last week like the guy who went top 10 in most drafts, running for 116 yards on 12 carries against the Chiefs. As Spiller's role grows, Jackson's will diminish. Lose him while he still has value.
THREE PLAYERS TO BUY
CHRIS JOHNSON
RB, Titans
The much-maligned back lit up the Rams for 150 yards and two TDs last week, and I'm predicting he's just getting started. Three of his next four games are against the Jags and the Colts, and both have allowed at least 4.4 yards per carry.
GOLDEN TATE
WR, Seahawks
He's the most productive WR (35 catches, 468 yards, three TDs) on a team that's finished strong in each of the past two years. With Sidney Rice out and Percy Harvin slow to return, Tate will garner even more attention from QB Russell Wilson.
T.Y. HILTON
WR, Colts
If his utter domination of the NFL's top-ranked passing D, Houston, was any indication, he's going to be a huge part of the Colts' O with Reggie Wayne out for the season. Expect Hilton to get double-digit targets in every game henceforth.
THREE PLAYERS TO STASH AWAY
TAVON AUSTIN
WR, Rams
With QB Sam Bradford and O coordinator Brian Schottenheimer potentially on the outs in St. Louis, Austin could be well-positioned in a new regime. He has the sort of 2014 upside that you should be targeting with your deepest roster spots.
EJ MANUEL
QB, Bills
The FSU rookie had 985 passing yards, 91 rushing yards and five TDs in five games before injuring his right knee—at which point he was widely dropped. He should be available for next to nothing. Nab him for next year. He'll enter the season as a QB2.
CORDARRELLE PATTERSON
WR, Vikings
Chalk up his lack of production to the disarray in Minnesota's passing game. The Vikes are firmly in the Teddy Bridgewater hunt, and with Jerome Simpson on a one-year deal, Patterson should see a larger role in '14.
