Austyn Cuneo | Waterford, N.J. | Field Hockey

Austyn, a junior at Eastern High, scored one goal in a 3--0 win over Oak Knoll to help the Vikings earn the state Tournament of Champions title and to increase her season total to 96, a national record. Austyn also broke the national mark for career goals earlier this year; she had 233 at season's end. Austyn has verbally committed to North Carolina.

Cole Hedlund | Argyle, Texas | Football

Cole, a senior kicker at Argyle High, booted five field goals to break the national career record (50) in a 57--12 Class 3A Div. II bi-district playoff win over Krum High. He connected from 47, 36, 33, 27 and 22 yards. He has since extended the mark to 53. Cole set the alltime single-season record with 25 in 2011. He has verbally committed to Arkansas.

Jamie Loeb | Ossining, N.Y. | Tennis

Loeb, a freshman at North Carolina, beat UCLA's Robin Anderson 6--3, 6--2 to win the USTA/ITA national indoor collegiate title in Queens, N.Y., and finish the season 19--1. She also beat Anderson for the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship in October. At the 2013 U.S. Open qualifier Loeb defeated world No. 193 Veronica Cepede Roug.

Tanner Anderson | Spokane | Cross-country

Tanner, a junior at North Central High, won the 5K Nike Pacific Northwest Regional race in Boise (15:19.4) to qualify for nationals. A week earlier he won the 3A state title in 14:32.83, beating defending champ Joe Hardy of Seattle Prep by .23 of a second and lifting the Indians to their eighth straight state championship.

Dana Aft | Atlanta | Pool

Aft, a 30-year-old web-application developer, won the U.S. Amateur Pool Championships women's division in Tampa. She beat Melinda Huang of Los Angeles 9--6 in the final, avenging her loss to Huang two rounds earlier in the double-elimination tournament. Aft, who finished third in 2010, earned a berth in the '14 U.S. Open.

Franklyn Quiteh | Tobyhana, Pa. | Football

Quiteh, a senior running back at Division II Bloomsburg, carried 27 times for 231 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Huskies to a 42--38 win over Slippery Rock and their first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title in 28 years. The active NCAA leader in career TDs (89), he ranks second all time in D-II with 7,315 rushing yards, trailing Danny Woodhead.
