Bryce Jordan | Lake Charles, La. | Baseball

Bryce, a senior catcher at Barbe High, broke a 49-year-old national season record when he was hit by his 30th pitch in as many games in a 12--2 win over Comeaux High (Lafayette). Through Sunday he had a .643 on-base percentage and is four hits-by-pitch away from the career record (65). Bryce and his twin brother, Beau, have signed to play at LSU.

Lloimincia Hall | Dallas | Gymnastics

Hall, a junior at Louisiana State, scored her third perfect 10 on the floor exercises this season and the fifth of her career—both school records—to lead the Tigers to their 13th regional title and 25th berth in the NCAA championships in 32 years. (They were runners-up.) Last month Hall scored a 9.95 on floor to earn her third straight SEC title.

Carlton Nebel | St. Louis | Baseball

Nebel, 87, a retired St. Louis public schools teacher and grandfather of nine, was inducted into the Greater St. Louis Association of Umpires Hall of Fame. Now in his 52nd season, he is believed to be the oldest certified high school umpire in the U.S. He played six years in the minors and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds as a catcher in 1948.

Alex Jacobson | Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Softball

Jacobson, a senior third baseman and righthanded batter at Division II Rockhurst, broke an NCAA record for all divisions last month by homering in eight straight games. During the streak she batted .481 with 17 RBIs and a 1.222 slugging percentage. Jacobson was hitting .325 through Sunday and led the Hawks in slugging (.625).

Ian Boggs | Zionsville, Ind. | Triathlon

Boggs, a junior at Indiana, won the men's draft-legal sprint in 55:06.58 at the USA Triathlon Collegiate Nationals in Tempe, Ariz. In the Olympic-distance event the next day he finished fifth in 1:47:20.58. A former swimmer for the Hoosiers, Boggs switched sports through USA Triathlon's collegiate recruitment program.

Pattriana Perry and Daria Cook | Vacaville, Calif. | Track

The Vacaville High seniors led the Bulldogs to a national 4 √ó 100 shuttle hurdles record (57.17) at the Arcadia (Calif.) Invitational, along with junior Nia Vance and freshman Jurnee Woodward. The previous record (57.49) was set in 2003. Next year Perry will run for UCLA and Cook will run for Kansas.
