Cover Stories

After 60 years and 3,069 covers, we want to know: Which one do you think stood out the most? In honor of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's 60th anniversary, SI editors picked 32 of the most iconic covers in the magazine's history—and we're asking readers to select a winner. Was it Muhammad Ali as the once and future king in 1969? Team USA's Miracle on Ice in '80? Dwight Clark's super catch for the 49ers in '82? Or Brandi Chastain's jersey-less celebration after USA's 1999 World Cup win? Go to SI.com/iconic-covers to see the complete bracket and vote for your favorites.

ON THE COVER

Where Are You?

To celebrate SI's 60th anniversary, the magazine's cover celebrates you, our readers. Last month we asked you to submit photos to represent your fandom. We received thousands of images and used them to create a mosaic reproduction of our very first cover, in 1954. To zoom in on the cover's interactive image—you're in there somewhere—go to SI.com/SI60. Or join the conversation on Twitter and Instagram using #BeOnSI.

Talking Baseball

120 SPORTS

Who has baseball's best rotation? 120 Sports analyst and former MLB pitcher Danny Graves believes it's now the A's. "Scott Kazmir, Jon Lester and Sonny Gray are in the top six in AL ERA, with Kazmir and Gray tied for second in the AL in wins (12) and Lester right behind them (11)," writes Graves. "Jeff Samardzija, the fourth starter, has the highest ERA of the four, a whopping 2.92. Take your pick between Jason Hammel and Jesse Chavez as the fifth guy, both with eight wins." For more from Graves and 24-hour access to video highlights and analysis, go to 120sports.com or download the free mobile or tablet app, available on iPhone and Android.

FanNation

PLAY DAILY. WIN BIG

The new FanNation fantasy sports app allows you to select a different set of players each day and challenge your friends for cash prizes or just for bragging rights. In Baseball Throwdown, pick a pitcher, an infielder and an outfielder, and see who beats their daily projections. Last week's top outfielder was the Yankees' Brett Gardner, who in six games batted .478 with five home runs and seven RBIs. To learn more, go to fannation.si.com

SportsKid of The Year

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED KIDS is taking nominations for its eighth-annual SportsKid of the Year, a young person who excels both on and off the field. Last year's winner, 14-year-old Jack Wellman, was a volunteer wrestling coach for a youth team in Newtown, Conn., and after the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting helped the team win its first-ever league championship.
