As a former police officer I can unequivocally say that yes, the Milton Bradley story (This Is What Domestic Abuse Looks Like) is what domestic violence looks like. While reading, I felt angered, upset, horrified and helpless. After I finished the article, I did the only thing I could. I prayed.
Bob Dahlstrom, Wilcox, Ariz.
Domestic violence must be addressed in this society as a serious health hazard. It appears Mr. Bradley received custody of his kids without having a thorough psychological assessment. May God comfort Ms. Bradley's parents and kids.
Stephen Mack, Philadelphia
What a sad story and what a huge fail by the authorities and Bradley's MLB employers. One shocking Ray Rice video and it is front-page national news for weeks. This story? Guess if you are out of the league and out of the limelight, your transgressions are back-page news, if they are reported at all.
John Fullerton, Waterloo, Ont.
Mike Milbury's gross mismanagement of the New York Islanders and subsequent reward with a rich television contract brings to mind another M&M former GM, who remains unrepentant and clueless: Matt Millen. Great to see the Islanders are making a healthy recovery.
Ken Lemieux Clarkston, Mich.

Guard Grayson Allen may have been the "forgotten freshman" for Duke, but his performance in the championship game (16 points) will be remembered forever.

POINT AFTER
Reading Steve Rushin's Glove Conquers All essay was the only time in my life that I can recall crying (Dad presents son with first baseball card), laughing out loud (Steve Garvey horizontal) and then crying again (Mom passes away) all in the same minute.
Brandon Alford
Bellevue, Neb.
We Orioles fans take issue with Rushin's contention that Sept. 22, 1966, was the day baseball hit rock bottom. To us, it was the greatest day in MLB history—when Baltimore clinched its first pennant.
George Harrison
Dillsburg, Pa.
