2006: BEANIE WELLS, RB, AKRON, OHIO
He ran for 3,382 yards in three years at Ohio State and was a first-round pick of the Cardinals. He set a franchise record of 228 yards in a game, but injuries forced him out of the game at 25.
2007: EVERSON GRIFFEN, DT, AVONDALE, ARIZ.
At USC he was second-team All--Pac-10 as a junior. The Vikings chose him in the fourth round, and he has become a linchpin of their D, signing a five-year, $42.5 million deal in '14.
2008: TERRELLE PRYOR, QB, JEANNETTE, PA.
Ohio State dual threat was MVP of the 2010 Rose and '11 Sugar Bowls. He turned pro in spring of '11, and the Raiders took him in the supplemental draft. He's now a free-agent wide receiver.
2009: BRYCE BROWN, RB, WICHITA, KANS.
He picked Tennessee but transferred to Kansas State after his freshman year. He ran for a total of 476 yards, but the Eagles chose him in the seventh round. He's now a backup for the Seahawks.
2010: SEANTREL HENDERSON, OT, MINNEAPOLIS
He had limited success at Miami, starting 26 games over his four years. In 2014 the Bills made him their seventh-round pick, and he has been their starting right tackle.
2011: JADEVEON CLOWNEY, DE, ROCK HILL, S.C.
Clowney set South Carolina's single-season records for sacks (13) and tackles for loss (23½). The Texans took him No. 1 in 2014. An OLB, he has piled up 4½ sacks while battling injuries.
2012: DORIAL GREEN-BECKHAM, WR, SPRINGFIELD, MO.
He was dismissed by Missouri after his sophomore season and entered the draft after sitting out a year. The Titans took him in the second round; he had 32 catches and four TDs as a rookie.
2013: ROBERT NKEMDICHE, DT, LOGANVILLE, GA.
The 6'4", 296-pound Nkemdiche emerged as a force over three seasons at Ole Miss. He's tabbed to be a first-round pick in April.
2014: LEONARD FOURNETTE, RB, NEW ORLEANS
After a great sophomore campaign at LSU—1,953 yards and 22 TDs—the 6'1" 230-pounder is a front-runner for the 2016 Heisman Trophy.
2015: KAHLIL MCKENZIE, DT, WALNUT CREEK, CALIF.
He didn't start for Tennessee but still got time, finishing with 24 tackles and a sack.
