An RBI record of ill repute
AS OF LAST SUNDAY, Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph had gone 388 days without an RBI. That includes all 141 of his 2016 plate appearances, making him the first nonpitcher since 1920 to make at least 98 PAs and go a full season without driving in a run. He joins a list of players who have flourished at futility.
