Kade Warner | Scottsdale, Ariz. | Football

Kade, a senior wide receiver at Desert Mountain High, had eight catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns in a 35--34 loss to Pinnacle High (Phoenix) to break the 11-man Arizona record for career receptions with 210. Kade, whose dad is former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, led the state in catches as a junior with 96.

Taylor Sandbothe | Lee's Summit, Mo. | Volleyball

Sandbothe, a 6'2" senior middle blocker at Ohio State, had 19½ points and nine blocks in a four-set victory over Nebraska, handing the defending national champ its first loss in 29 matches. She reached No. 2 on the Buckeyes' all-time blocks list with 481. A 2015 All-America, Sandbothe led the team in blocks (67) and kills (249) at week's end.

Justyn Knight | Vaughan, Ont. | Cross-country

Knight, a junior at Syracuse, ran a course-record 23:13.9 to win the 8K Panorama Farms Invitational in Earlysville, Va., by 15.8 seconds. Last season he took the 10K NCAA Northeast Regional title in 30:28.9 and finished fourth at NCAAs with a time of 29:46.1, to lead the Orange to the national title over two-time defending champion Colorado.

Emilia Migliaccio | Cary, N.C. | Golf

Emilia, a senior at Athens Drive High in Raleigh, went 3--0 to help the U.S. clinch its fifth consecutive Junior Ryder Cup title over Europe, 15½--8½, at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn. In June she was the runner-up in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Emilia, who is ranked No. 7 among juniors by, has committed to Wake Forest.

Patrick Welch | Providence | Golf

Patrick, a junior at Classical High, was one of two U.S. players to go 3--0 in leading the team to its fifth straight Junior Ryder Cup title 15½--8½. He sealed his unbeaten record by firing one eagle and five birdies with a bogey in a match-play win over France's Adrien Pendaries (5 and 4). Patrick was the runner-up at the Junior PGA Championship in August.

Eileen Donahue | Belmont, Mass. | Field Hockey

Donahue, 57, the coach at Watertown High, earned her 600th victory with a 5--0 defeat of Reading High. A week later the Raiders beat Wilmington High 2--0 to set a national mark with their 107th straight win and extend their unbeaten streak to a record 167 games. In 31 years Donahue (607-30-45 through Sunday) has won 16 state titles.
