I am a 58-year-old sports fan who was totally engrossed by Alexander Wolff's article on the inevitable changes coming in the way we watch sporting events. It was exciting and frightening at the same time. I can only hope my son will still be close by so he can help me program all these options into my television.

I hope Roger Goodell reads Greg Bishop's story on the pain and injuries players endure during the season (Get-Right Day). It is despicable that the commissioner has so little regard for the wishes and well-being of the players.

I enjoyed Austin Murphy's article on Mike McCarthy and the lack of respect he gets from Packers fans (It's Not Easy Being Green). I find it strange that the same fan base that has endured the struggles of the Bucks and the Brewers would take McCarthy's success for granted.

I can't see the case for Ohio State's winning the national championship (The Four Tops). The Buckeyes are only the third-best team in the Big Ten, losing to Penn State in October and then getting an early Christmas present from Michigan in double overtime.

SCORECARD

I completely disagree with Mark McGwire's belief that we should "move on" and allow him to be voted into the Hall of Fame. We cannot reward the arrogant coaches and players who dishonor sports with their rule-breaking. Let's keep integrity in professional and college sports.
