Chardonnay Harris | Oak Park, Ill. | Softball

Chardonnay, a recent graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High, threw a one-hitter and fanned 16 for a 1--0 win over Lincoln-Way East that clinched the Huskies' second straight Class 4A state title. She finished 19--0 with an 0.29 ERA and 233 strikeouts in 1182/3 innings. Chardonnay will play at Auburn.

Michael Sanders | Davidson, N.C. | Golf

Michael, a rising senior at the Cannon School in Concord, won his second straight NCISAA 3A title, birdieing the second playoff hole to beat Ryan Gerard of Ravenscroft at the Country Club of Whispering Pines. The 16th-ranked junior golfer in the U.S., Michael has committed to LSU.

Jayci Grosso | Jensen Beach, Fla. | Flag Football

Jayci, a recent grad of Jensen Beach High, was named first-team all-state after leading the Falcons to the Class 1A semis. A quarterback, she threw for 38 touchdowns and rushed for nine. In a 20--14 victory over Harmony High in the regional final, Jayci tossed a game-winning eight-yard TD pass with 3:17 left.

Quincy Hall | Bakersfield, Calif. | Track and Field

Hall, a rising sophomore at the College of the Sequoias, won the 400-meter hurdles at the junior nationals in 49.51. At the CCCAA finals in May, he took gold in the 400 meters (46.72) and 400 hurdles (50.57). Hall ran the 400 in 45.12 at the Mt. SAC Relays in April, the second-fastest U-20 time this year.

Alison Bartsch | St. Thomas, V.I. | Soccer

Alison, a recent graduate of the Virgin Islands Montessori School & Peter Gruber International Academy, led the Volts to a varsity title with a 4--0 win over Charlotte Amalie High. A defender, she led a unit that allowed two goals in eight games. Alison, who has played on the USVI national team, will attend Stanford.

Lauren Harris | Holtsville, N.Y. | Racewalking

Lauren, a recent grad of Sachem East High, broke the national indoor 1,500-meter record with a 6:17.59 at the Ocean Breeze Invitational last January. In March she set the indoor mile mark (6:53.44) at the New Balance nationals; at the St. Anthony's Invitational, in May, she set the outdoor 1,500 record (6:22.96).
