Beautiful Touch

You've marveled at his skills on the pitch, but have you appreciated Neymar's artistry on the piano? After clips of the FC Barcelona star playing (and crooning) his way through some pop hits went viral last year, SI made sure to have a grand piano nearby during the cover shoot for this week's issue—just in case he got the urge to tickle the ivories once more. Sure enough, Neymar performed renditions of the Chariots of Fire theme song and John Legend's "All of Me."

Camp Tours

Freshly cut grass, unfettered optimism, contract holdouts ... it must be time for NFL training camp. All month, writers from The MMQB will be fanning out to bring you the inner workings of every team. This week Peter King heads to Napa, Calif., to see if Derek Carr(right) and the Raiders have what it takes to get to the Super Bowl. Several other writers will pack into The MMQB's preseason tour van as it winds toward Canton, Ohio, the site of Thursday's Hall of Fame Game between the Cardinals and the Cowboys. Keep checking SI.com/nfl for dispatches from every site our team visits.

Moving Targets

Which teams improved the most by the July 31 trade deadline? Among other moves, the Yankees picked up pitcher Sonny Gray(left) to help fend off division rivals down the stretch, and the Dodgers acquired Rangers ace Yu Darvish. Meanwhile, the pleasantly surprising Rockies and Royals added modest reinforcements to keep their momentums going through October. Head to SI.com/MLB for expert analysis of which GMs missed out and which players could still be on the move.
