When stars fetch prospects, who wins?

AMONG THE BIG names moved at Monday's MLB trade deadline were righthanded pitchers Sonny Gray (A's to Yankees) and Yu Darvish (Rangers to Dodgers), both of whom were dealt for a package of seemingly impressive prospects. But how often do those prospects pan out? Looking at the (subjectively) biggest names traded around the deadline between 2007 and '14 provides a clue about who wins when production is swapped for potential.
