GOAL SISTERS
Madi Bower estimates that she and her two sisters each scored in the same game 15 or 20 times while playing soccer at Millville (Pa.) Area High. It's been four years since they shared the field, but the Bower sisters were at it again—only now it's a little more complicated. Madi (above, center), 22, a redshirt junior at La Salle, and 20-year-old Maci, a junior there, took on Morgan, 18, a freshman at St. Joseph's, for the first time last month. Maci scored a goal in the 58th minute to give the Explorers a 2--1 lead, but nearly 20 minutes later Morgan tied it for the Hawks. In extra time, however, it was big sister Madi who netted the winner, earning the older two bragging rights over Morgan for now. "Our family is too competitive not to [brag]," Madi says.
