I like to live by the common sense rule. Practice portion control and limit pizza to only once a week.

Spinach salad with grilled chicken, peppers, cranberries, sunflower seeds and balsamic vinaigrette
Chicken or beef stir fry with Teriyaki sauce and grilled peppers, broccoli, green beans, onions
Homemade protein balls (whey protein powder, oats, honey, peanut butter, with chia seeds or mini chocolate chips)
When I'm nervous before a big game, I always feel hungry, so I make sure to have a snack with me.
Two pieces of toast with Nutella, apple with peanut butter, milk, juice, tea
Large salad, heaping plate of rice, chicken, roasted vegetables
Salmon, pasta, sauteed vegetables, ice cream for dessert. And occasionally, a glass of wine
Mid-morning: Powerbar and sports drink, chocolate milk. Afternoon: smoothie, chocolate milk. Bedtime: cereal with milk
My nutritional challenge is getting enough calories. This is my diet in the summer, when I train up to six hours a day.

Chris: Light sandwich with a complex carb and lean protein, salad; Alexa: Sandwich, salad, fruit, milk
Both: Grilled meat, salad, light carb side (noodles, brown rice, etc.), fruit, dessert (always Alexa's call)
Alexa: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Alexa: We eat differently during the day (food and definitely quantity), but we almost always have the same thing for dinner.
