HOLDAT
With Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson
The onetime Bulls teammates (and real-life besties) are joining forces again for a weekly SI podcast—sharing stories from their playing days and discussing the NBA from an insider's perspective. What's up with the show's name, you ask? Let Boozer (near right) explain:
"HOLDAT came from my boy, Sticks [former Chicago center Joakim Noah]. We're in Boston, and he and Kevin Garnett have battled throughout their careers. We go to the fourth quarter, two minutes to go, and we're down by two. [Derrick] Rose drives and kicks it out to Noah—and if you haven't seen my man's jump shot, it's like a cyclone—and KG tried to close out on him. Joakim hit the shot, and then he screamed out 'HOLDAT!' right in KG's face. We ended up winning in overtime. That was the moment when HOLDAT arrived."
