Christian, a senior running back at Oil City High, rushed for 363 yards and six touchdowns in a 56--16 victory over Fort LeBoeuf. It was the fourth straight week that he had 300 yards or more on the ground. Over 12 games this season Christian rushed for 3,252 yards and 46 TDs.
Trenton, a junior at Taft High, won gold in the men's recurve at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, the best showing by a U.S. archer at an Olympic event since 1996. (The U.S. mixed team took bronze.) At the 2018 Pan American Championships, Trenton won three medals.
Arles, a 5'11" senior setter at Emory, had 35 assists, three aces and five digs in a sweep of Calvin College for the Division III championship. She was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. A first-team All-America, Arles ranked 15th in D-III with 10.71 assists per set.
Walker, a sophomore forward at Arizona State, scored four times—all on the power play—in a 7--2 win over Omaha. Through 16 games he leads the nation with 12 goals and has six assists. Last year Walker had 17 goals, second most in the nation by a freshman, to lead the Sun Devils.
Hinton, a 6'5" junior guard at Shaw University in Raleigh, had 44 points, six assists and four steals in an 89--83 win over East Stroudsburg. Five days later he scored 31 points in an 85--62 win over Fort Valley State. Through seven games Hinton is averaging 33.6 points to lead Division II.
