Jake, a senior running back and wide receiver at Notre Dame Prep, caught 64 passes for 1,112 yards and 22 touchdowns to lead the Saints to the Conference 5A state title game. He also rushed for 741 yards and 15 TDs and returned two kicks for scores. Jake will play next year at Texas.

Christian, a 6'1" senior guard at Mullen High, scored 55 points in a 91--58 win over Chatfield, including 15 threes (on 19 attempts), one shy of the state record. He took just 24 shots in 29 minutes. Through 10 games Christian is averaging 18.8 points on 51% shooting from beyond the arc.

Cat, a junior forward at Tabor Academy, tied the game in the final minute on a free kick then buried her penalty kick to help beat Thayer Academy 4--3 on PKs for the New England Prepatory School Athletic Council Class B title. The team leader with 33 goals, she has committed to South Carolina.
ALEX RODRIGUEZ

Rodriguez, a senior forward at Augsburg in Minneapolis, had his second straight hat trick in a 5--3 win over Hamline. Through 14 games he is tied for second in Division III in goals, with 13. Rodriguez, who played two years at D-I Rensselaer, had seven goals and 19 points last season.
QUINN MORRISON

• Ashville, Ala.
Quinn, a junior at Westbrook Christian, deadlifted 556.5 pounds at the WABDL championship to break his own world record of 501.5 for ages 16 and 17 in the 181-pound class. He also finished second in the bench press, setting a state record with 303 pounds. He was named best lifter.
