MADISON LAYDEN

Basketball Kokomo, Ind.

Madison, a 6'1" junior guard at Northwestern High, scored 22 points in a 60--42 win over Oak Hill, giving her a school-record 1,350 for her career. Last season she averaged 18.7 points to lead the Tigers to the 3A state title. Madison, who has a 4.0 GPA, has committed to play at Purdue.

DA'MANI BURNS

Wrestling Newburgh, N.Y.

Burns, a junior at Johnson & Wales in Providence, went 4--0 at the National Duals to take over the No. 1 ranking in Division III at 149 pounds. Twice named the NEWA wrestler of the week, he had also defeated two top five opponents to take the New Standard Invitational title.

ALEXANDRA WILSON

Judo Damascus, Md.

Alexandra, a freshman at Damascus High, won gold at the U.S. senior championships in the 44-kg class. Two months later she took first at the U.S. Open. Alexandra, who has trained with U.S. Olympians, is the top-ranked female judoka in the country in her weight class.

ALIYAH ABRAMS

Track and Field Grayson, Ga.

Abrams, a junior at South Carolina, won the 400 meters at the Orange & Purple Elite, finishing in 52.87. She also anchored the first-place 4 × 400 relay team. A three-time All-America, Abrams represented Guyana, where she holds dual citizenship, at the 2016 Olympics.

JAMES STOVEKEN

Bowling Fords, N.J.

James, a senior at Woodbridge High, set a high school record with the seventh perfect game of his career in a 4--0 victory over Old Bridge. Last season he averaged 231.3 to lead the Barrons to a 3--0 defeat of St. Rose and the state Tournament of Champions title.
