INSIDE PITCH
There is no shortage of lists ranking the greatest performances in sports history—but it's rare to have the athletes themselves pick their own. In Aces Choice, an SI TV exclusive series, five star pitchers, including Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez (above), select the favorite outings of their careers and share memories from those games.

Still Swinging Away
IT HAS been five years since Mo'ne Davis took the mound for Philadelphia's Taney Dragons at the Little League World Series and pitched her team to two wins, becoming the first girl to post a shutout. Her success made her an instant celebrity. Major leaguers tweeted about her, SI and SI Kids put her on the cover (left), and President Obama invited her to the White House. "It's kind of crazy to think that at such a young age, I've been mentioned with some of the greatest people in the world," Davis says now. What has her life been like since her star turn in Williamsport, Pa.? SI got an inside look, for both a story (page 66) and a video that will be available on SI's streaming service on July 2.
Watch Davis at softball practice, at graduation from Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and on a visit to Hampton University, where she will play shortstop for the softball team and study communications as a freshman this fall. "I just want people to remember who I am as a person, not because of all the things that I've done," she says. "Not for what my name holds."
