Larry Keith

Larry Keith met his wife at Sports Illustrated, where he worked from 1970-2003, on both the editorial and the publishing sides. As a reporter, writer and editor his primary assignments were baseball and college basketball. He wrote 19 cover stories from 1975-80 before serving as a senior editor and assistant managing editor through 1987. He then won three Time Inc. Presidents Awards for his work as SI’s Editorial Projects Director, he created the editorial concept for Sports Illustrated Kids and he was the managing editor for three Olympic souvenir programs.
